This is something that I’ve been talking / thinking about doing for a long time. I talk about music a lot. I guess it made some kind of sense to put it into a blog. Even the name of the blog is taken from a song (brownie points given to those who know who it is).
I’ve been working (stressing) over an idea which I have shamelessly stolen from my friend John (check his blog out at http://penguinorchestra.wordpress.com). This is my top 100 albums. Not a new concept I know, however it has proven challenging. I’m still not 100% on the list, and I doubt I ever will be. I listen to so much music that it would be unfair to say “this is the definitive list of my favourite albums”. It something I’ve done to pass the time and listen to some truly remarkable albums (though some might be through nostalgia).
I’m also going to publish reviews of both albums and of live events here. Fuck, I go to enough gigs and listen to enough music to have it varied (and for me to remember in more detail).
